Steamboat lake is one of the more popular lakes in the state. Good fishing, camping and boating are available along with a
full-service marina. Majestic peaks, lush green valleys and
colorful alpine wildflowers make the park picturesque year-round. Winter comes
alive at Steamboat Lake with ice fishing, cross-country skiing and access to 60
miles of prime snowmobiling trails.
From Steamboat Springs go west two miles on U.S. 40 to County Road 129. Turn north and drive 26 miles. |
