Conditions : HUNTINGTON RESERVOIR: - North - Fishing forecast (June through August): Summer months will provide the best fishing opportunity for channel catfish. Catfish can be caught on various baits with scent. Trout fishing can be difficult in the summer due to higher water temperatures. Most of their feeding activity will occur at night. Wiper will also be more active at night or early in the morning.

Mammoth - Fishing forecast (June through August): Ice-off can be the best fishing of the year. Tiger trout will be in shallow water feeding along the rocky shorelines. Use jigs tipped with worms or chub meat, or try silver-colored spoons and spinners for the best luck. Splake were introduced to the reservoir in 2021 to help control illegally introduced Utah chub and redside shiners. As the water temperature increases, trout will find refuge in deeper water. Shore fishing will be better early in the morning
