| Fishing Info: Steamboat lake is one of the more popular lakes in the state. Good fishing, camping and boating are available along with a full-service marina. Majestic peaks, lush green valleys and colorful alpine wildflowers make the park picturesque year-round. Winter comes alive at Steamboat Lake with ice fishing, cross-country skiing and access to 60 miles of prime snowmobiling trails. Directions: From Steamboat Springs go west two miles on U.S. 40 to County Road 129. Turn north and drive 26 miles.
